Botox / Botulinum toksin er et stof man har brugt siden 80érne til behandling af blandt andet kosmetisk rynkebehandling spastiske lammelser og svedgener. Produktet er udbredt over hele verden hvor det hertil bruges til at løsne smertefulde krampetilstande da botox virker muskelafslappende og kan stoppe fx muskelspasmer.
In its pure form, Botulinum toxin type A is a poison, but for cosmetic use the doses are so extremely small that they are completely harmless. Similar brands include Dysport, NeuroBLoc and Vistabel.
If you have not had a botox treatment at our clinic before, it is a requirement from the Swedish Patient Safety Authority that you be consulted by one of the clinic's dermatologists at least 48 hours before your treatment. During the consultation, the dermatologist will analyze your face and organize the treatment based on your wishes and at the same time inform you about how the treatment works and which botox side effects there may be from the treatment.
It is important for us to dress you well before your first treatment. In addition, it is important that you feel in safe hands and are asked all the questions you may have.
With botox, you can treat the dynamic wrinkles, i.e. wrinkles caused by muscle contractions in the skin. After injection, the muscles in the treated area will be prevented from contracting and causing folds in e.g. the forehead or around the eyes. This will cause the muscles to tense up and thus wrinkles will be smoothed out and at the same time significantly prevented from forming again. The effect will be temporary for about three to six months.
An important thing to note is that the sense of touch in the treated area is unchanged and it will only be the treated area that will be affected.
A botox treatment can possibly be combined with other treatments, including laser and filler treatment.
Before Botox treatment
First, the skin on your face will be thoroughly cleaned to avoid bacteria. Your therapist will tell you exactly what needs to happen and answer any questions.
During botox treatment
The Botox treatment is carried out either by our nurse or dermatologist, who injects small amounts of the product into the fine facial or neck muscles with a very fine and thin needle. Botox is placed just under the skin in the musculature at strategically selected locations. The treatment itself often only takes a very short time of approx. 10 – 15 minutes, and there may be some discomfort associated with the procedure which stops immediately at the end of the treatment.
After botox treatment
The effect occurs slowly after 3-8 days and you will therefore only be able to see the final result after a few weeks.
You may experience slight redness at the injection site for a few hours after the injection and you should completely avoid touching or using make-up in the area for the following hours to avoid infection. In addition, it is important not to massage or press the treated area for the first 4 hours, so that the toxin does not spread to other muscles than the intended ones.
You can usually easily go to work afterwards/the day after without visible signs of treatment.
If the effect is not sufficient or there is inappropriate asymmetry, a "touch up" treatment will be carried out after 14 days. After this, when you feel that a treatment is needed again, you can book a new time for a follow-up botox treatment. If you are in doubt, you are of course always welcome to get a professional assessment.
Botox is used to a particularly large extent for cosmetic treatment, among other things to remove worry wrinkles between the eyebrows, crow's feet and smile wrinkles around the eyes, smoking wrinkles at the corners of the mouth, gummy smiles, bunny lines, v shape and more.
As a starting point, the vast majority of people are suitable for a botox treatment, but certain situations may occur where it is not recommended or the treatment should be postponed. This applies, among other things, to active acne or herpes in the area to be treated.

Non-permanent fillers consist of a gel of the same type of hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body's connective tissue. The various non-permanent fillers differ in the viscosity of the gel and whether there is anything other than hyaluronic acid mixed in. The thickest gels are used for filling cheeks, the second thickest for deeper furrows, folds, for example. the furrow from the nose to the corner of the mouth. Finally, there are non-permanent fillers especially for the lips.
With age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin is reduced and therefore the skin becomes looser. When non-permanent fillers are injected into folds and furrows resulting from this, these are filled and smoothed, because the gel gives new volume to the skin and makes the skin more elastic. The gel integrates with the surrounding tissue and since there is a continuous turnover of hyaluronic acid in the skin, the effect will diminish over time.
BB Glow, also known as semi permanent Make Up, has for many become an indispensable part of beauty care. This new form of Permanent Make Up takes place without any degree of tattooing. It is semi-permanent, natural and full of sf vitamins.
The treatment is only carried out by the clinic's cosmetic nurses, who use a specially approved permanent make-up machine with nano-needles that create microscopic nano-channels in the skin, where collagen and vitamins can penetrate deep and work.
There are 5 different color shades. And we select and mix after an assessment of your natural shades before the treatment begins. We distribute different degrees of dark and light shades in different places on the face to give you the most beautiful and natural result.
The entire treatment lasts approx. one hour.
The machine's technology ensures that there is no pain during the treatment, and therefore no anesthesia is needed.
A completely exclusive vitamin cocktail with a 100% pure color has been specially developed to penetrate the skin. This cocktail contains both vitamin C and vitamin E, antioxidants, collagen, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide (a B3 vitamin which whitens the skin). All the ingredients in the cocktail penetrate deep into the subcutaneous tissue and intensively boost the skin with colour, glow and moisture.

As the skin must be anesthetised, treated and moisturised, you can expect a treatment time of 60 minutes.
Although scars and wrinkles are treated deep under the skin, micro needling is a painless treatment. You will have a thick layer of anesthetic cream applied before the treatment begins. The treatment will feel like a regular facial and ends with a delicious hyaluronic-intensive mask, which cools the skin and gives it moisture. As the skin must be anesthetised, treated and moisturised, you can expect a treatment time of 60 minutes.
Before treating scars or wrinkles, self-tanner must not be used on the area in question up to the treatment and sunbathing must also be avoided, as the skin must not be too tanned.
On the same day the treatment is carried out, the skin will be very red and feel irritated. It is important to moisturize the skin several times during the day and the use of make-up must be avoided. Depending on the skin problems being treated, the redness may last for 2-5 days and slowly subside during this period.
If the sun is high in the sky, it is recommended to use factor 50 for two weeks after the treatment is carried out.
Profhilo consists of hyaluronic acid in its purest form. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally exists in the body's connective tissue, but which gradually decreases with age, and therefore the skin becomes looser. Profhilo is injected into the area where you want to rejuvenate your skin. The treatment is carried out carefully with small stitches in such a way that your own production of collagen is activated and works bigger. The product is spread around the body so that an intense volume is not created in one specific place. And this gives a completely natural look.

Before you are treated with Profhilo, you must be consulted by one of the clinic's nurses. It is a legal requirement in Denmark that the consultation takes place at least 2 days before we carry out the treatment. The rule exists to ensure that you are sure that you want the treatment after you have been informed about the result and any side effects.
You will have small stitches on the treated area which can be seen for 12-24 hours after the treatment. Normally, you will be able to be out of trouble the day after the treatment, and you can therefore schedule appointments and work as usual.
However, swelling may occur in the first week after treatment, as some people draw fluid during the injection.
In other cases, bruising may occur after the injections if the needles have hit blood vessels under the skin. This will go away on its own after a week, as bruises usually do.
The treatment is carried out over 2 rounds. Since the process is completely natural for the body, it takes longer to achieve the final result than a filler treatment will. On the other hand, the result lasts longer.
After the first treatment, the collagen in your skin is activated, and some results start to appear after 4 weeks, when treatment number 2 is carried out. 4 weeks after the number 2 treatment (i.e. 8 weeks into the process) the final result can be seen.
The result varies from person to person as all bodies are different and react differently. It is therefore not possible to guarantee a specific shelf life. The younger your body is, the more resilient it is. And therefore the result lasts longer the older you get.
Results typically last for more than a year. We recommend that you have the treatment done once a year in order to maintain the optimal result at all times.

The face must not be washed/cleansed for the first 6 hours - and make-up must also be avoided for the first 6 hours after treatment.
